Rain delays Warriors-Mavericks second half

Water seeped through the American Airlines Center's ceiling during the second half of Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals

During a rare halftime rain delay in basketball, stadium personnel were attempting to fix a leak in the ceiling that had been caused by the rain outside.

The American Airlines Center roof leaked water for the second time this season, causing a Mavericks game to be postponed. On March 21, it also caused a 15-minute delay

As a result, the Mavericks went into the break up 62-47. Two Warriors players were playing rock paper scissors to pass the time as members from both teams sat at half court

The Mavericks were the team that began the third quarter on the baseline near the Warriors' bench as the leak leaked onto the baseline.

The Mavericks continued to build on their lead, pushing out to a 99-70 edge at the conclusion of the third quarter and went on to win 119-109.
