Two persons were shot and murdered Thursday evening at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.
Capt. Shane Ware says a lone suspect shot up a religious congregation. Three were shot and two died. Another individual is hospitalised, said Ware.
"As we hear of the terrible and awful loss of a life at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Vestavia, we send our prayers for the victim's family, the wounded, and the whole church community."

The accused gunman is in police custody and the next briefing is planned for Friday at 10:30 a.m.
